So just what the hell time IS it?!

In case you missed it, Daylight Savings Time (DST) began this morning at 2:00am.

Don’t worry, a lot of people missed it too.

The clocks change twice a year- they move ahead an hour the first weekend in April, and move back an hour the last weekend in October. Starting this year however, thanks to Congress, DST begins 3 weeks early and ends one week later.

I don’t understand why.

Personally, I think the whole thing of switching clocks on every freakin’ thing, from watches to TVs to stoves to car stereos, is a pain in the ass. Plus, many TVs and VCRs that auto-update their time are factory set to do so the first week of April and the last weekend of October, so they will have to be reset again at that time. It’s just a pain. Secondly, why did Congress decide to change the times the time change, causing everyone to change their time? Confused yet?
