Spoiled little rich bitch heiress and part-time amateur porn star Paris Hilton was a sobbing little bucket of goo yesterday as she was so “heinously” sent back to jail to serve her 7 hour sentence for DUI, instead of being allowed to serve it in her 19,000-square foot estate.
So what?!
Spoiled little rich bitch “actress” (and THAT term is used with a huge tongue in the cheek) Lindsay Lohan is in rehab because she is a drunk and a coke whore.
Who cares?!
Joe and/or Joan Celebrity (Angelina Jolie, Madonna, Sharon Stone, etc.) adopts child(ren) from some unheard-of third-world country (by throwing money at the government instead of following the rules us poor working mopes have to follow) so they can try to jump-start their stalled career by making it appear as though they are “good people”.
Big deal. Wish I had the money to buy kids and then pay someone else to raise them while I’m off at my movie shoots and public appearances and phony humanitarian speeches.

Why is shit like this considered “newsworthy”? Why do so many people care about stuff like this? Is it because people are jealous that celebrities get away with and are almost praised for shit that normal people can’t? Is it because we have such pathetic existences we have to live vicariously through drug addicts, adulterers, steroid users, spouse/child/significant other beaters, and other assorted scabs on the genitals of humanity? I know my existence is not that pathetic, at least not yet.
I’m not Mr. Morality by any stretch of the imagination, but for the love of Pete, folks. I don’t even think it’s their behavior that bothers me. I know that there are people all over the world that abuse drugs, that break laws, things like that. What bothers me is that we as a society have such an addiction to celebrity worship that it is considered so “newsworthy” when someone is arrested, sentenced to serve time, is drunk/high/strung out in public and on video, gets away with something you and I couldn’t, etc.
Good Lord, people, get a life. Maybe if we all stop giving a rip about them, they’ll all go away.

Why people spend their time on Paris Hilton is beyond me. She’s not that gorgeous, she can’t DO anything in the arts field (act, sing, etc.), she isn’t a humanitarian, she’s absolutely indolent and self-serving. What a mess! She makes Anna Nicole look normal, and that’s a big stretch of the imagination.

The reason why we’re smothered by Hilton and the rest of the lameass worthless celebs is because the media apparently believes theyll blow up if they dnt show them every 5 mins.Media is not abt news anymore.it’s just a channel for celebrities to moon at us in the expectation that we’ll kiss their vain, snobbish asses.And lets face it, most of us pucker up.
The reason the public is so enamored with Hilton is because they want to see her fail. I like to watch the pundit shows if there is something more noteworthy, but even the good shows have jumped on the bandwagon under the geise that they are debating the legal aspects of her problems. There is a war going on, there are pedophiles kidnapping children and leaving them for dead, there is hunger and unemployment and if we don’t watch it an unworthy candidate will sneak under the radar and end up in the White House in just over a year from now.
I read the other day about a guy that has been praying on single mothers since the early nineties, taking out life insurance policies on those mother’s children and cashing in and getting away with it. How come that doesn’t make it to the pundit shows?
We have to get out from under this tabloid mentality and get back our intelligence and demand real news from now on.
